Since I'm primarily a guitarist I'm not familiar with the make. Nice looking though. It appears to be active with an 18 Volt preamp (given the dual battery covers); then again, I'm just guessing about the 18 Volt part. I'm not a fan of black basses, tort pickguards, active pickups and EQ, 18 volt electronics or string thru - although that bridge also allows top slot loading which I am a fan of. He also implies that it is on the heavy side . OTOH it does seem like a good deal and It's probably good for my country project downtuned to "D" standard .
