    Thanks man!

The stencil was specific to that body, but I'll probably redo it in dimensions that will work on any body.

So...here's the bass body with forearm contour, contoured heel, and improved lower bout access...

      Here's the latest:

      Slab-front, ready for paint.

Forearm contour will have faux-binding finish.

      Belly-cut and heel access contour.

      Nice and smooth...ready for paint.

      Bullet-truss one-piece guitar neck and tilt-back bass neck...just a little bit different.

Volute on the bass neck and skunk stripe on the guitar.

It looks like I'll be having bridges, rings & control plates fabricated in polished stainless steel by Hipshot.

They will be "drop in" replacements for '50s F-style bridges, but with individual saddles:

Control plate, Thunderbird and Humbucker pickup ring prototypes in stainless steel by Hipshot Products, Inc.

Also, four-string bass bridge plate prototype in stainless steel with top-mount and string-through options.

Zack at Hipshot is doing a great job on these for me.
