Members Belle29
Hello everyone, I'm trying to figure out the value and worth of my Aria Pro II bass. It was given to me as a gift a few years ago, it's still in great condition minus a couple minor nicks. No matter how much searching I do I can't seem to find any info online about my bass specifically. Here are a few pics, hopefully one of you can maybe help me figure out more about it or at least point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance. Members WRGKMC
Its obviously refinished. There is allot of info here on Aria basses. http://www.matsumoku.org/models/models.html Nailing down the exact year and model is what you need to do. The way the neck joins the body I'd say its one of the cheaper Samanic built Intagra's from the early 90's. http://basschat.co.uk/topic/184078-aria-pro-ii-for-saletrade/ Since the finish has been altered I'd say you'd be lucky to get $150~200 max and maybe $100 on ebay. The problem with the basses are there are so many of them and not so many bass players willing to buy. Fenders are the same way, I have a Squire II from the 90's that built as well as well as a regular Fender is today. I paid about $200 back about 1994 and I wouldn't get any more for it today. Not when you can buy a new one for the same amount.

Members badpenguin
And, you don't have proof it's an Aria. It may have Aria parts, doesn't mean it's an Aria. While I disagree with W's statement about it being built in the 90's, Aria went to Korea in the late 80's, then to China, without the logo, it could be Aria, or Vantage, or Westone, or a number of other copies. But I think closer to the 300 mark is a safer bet.
