Members WRGKMC
Precision bass and Ashdown Bass amps. From the pics I' saw it looks like he's using 4X10's stacked in one http://ashdownmusic.com/products/1/B...410H-Cabinet-/ and several 8X10's in another The 8X10 had a handle on top so its likely this one http://ashdownmusic.com/products/1/B...-810-Cabinet-/ No idea what he uses for the heads. In a few pics it shows a rack unit but I couldn't see any details. The SVT type cabs take about 1200W each so he's likely got a whole rack of power amps. He can be using anything for a preamp. Unless he's inclined to tell you his trade secrets and reveal his secret weapons you'll never know exactly. Not that that even matters. Even if you picked up his bass plugged into his gear you wouldn't sound exactly the same anyway. My advice is get an Ampeg either 4X10 or 8X10 and an SVT head and start from there. Then get a good bass effects amp emulator unit and just dial up his tones with your ears. After you get tired of being a copy cat, start dialing up your own signature tones that sound best to you and others. You'll know when you get that tone. People clap when you sound good and they leave the room when you don't.
Members Bassbob
Eric has used Ampeg/fridge rigs, Trace Elliot, Aguilar and Ashdown, but he primarily used the Trace stuff. And 18" cabs.
