Members Wayne77
I got this guitar late last year and it's been played in my home a few times, never taken on the road. Plays and sounds just like any high end strat emulating guitar should - of course it does have that unique Carvn flavour. I just have one too many guitars. I also have a USA American Deluxe strat with custom BG pickups, and I think this plays just as nice - tones are a little different of course, but the neck and fretwork on the Carvin is better in my opinion. Condition wise, I would say it is pretty much indistinguishable from New, flawless condition. Silky smooth neck, etc etc. I love the stainless frets! This guitar really resonates when played unplugged. The fret work is excellent. Extras: Very nice Carvin hardshell case & extra metal black dome knobs, strap & dunlop strap locks. The guitar and extras listed below were purchased as a custom shop model direct from Carvin for $846 after their promotions/discounts. Here are the options as spec'd: Model: Carvin Bolt T (Tremolo option adds $50 to std price). Alder Body ("white/white" color as near as I can tell), white pickguard, Maple neck & fingerboard, stainless frets ($40 option), contoured neck heel, C22 Bridge pickup w/ coil split ($15 option), AP11 middle and neck single coils. Extras include: Carvin Hardshell case ($79 option), metal dome knobs (in addition to the installed traditional strat style knobs), a very nice, new Carvin GS25 padded guitar strap ($14 option), dunlop strap locks ($10 option) $600 + shipping (or best offer) to any zip in the lower 48.
