Readers can win one of five pedalboards loaded with the same stompboxes used by top guitarists
Premier Guitar has launched its most ambitious gear contest to date with its Pro Pedalboard Giveaway. Entrants have a chance to win one of five replicas of the effects pedalboards used by prominent artists as seen in Premier Guitar's Rig Rundown videos and in its March 2012 issue. The pedalboard replicas include those of Joe Satriani, Brent Hinds (Mastodon), Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Walter Becker (Steely Dan), and James Valentine (Maroon 5). There are 62 pedals from 29 different manufacturers, and each pedalboard prize package comes on a Pedaltrain Grande pedalboard, includes a flight case, and is fully wired with George L’s cables.
“As guitar media companies go, we have the best fans out there, so we wanted to deliver a contest that’s both unparalleled in terms of how cool it is and unique to Premier Guitar,” says Premier Guitar Marketing Manager Nick Ireland. “Entrants have a chance to win gear that’s key to these five great artists achieving their signature tones, so it's a pretty exciting opportunity.”
Each pedalboard is a replica of the ones seen in Premier Guitar's March 2012 Pro Pedalboard feature. A complete list of the stompboxes included on each pedalboard can be found on the entry page for each prize package at http://facebook.com/premierguitar.
