SKANNER XT, a unique and highly distinctive KOMPLETE instrument,

Part sampler, part synth, SKANNER XT utilizes a unique synthesizer

oscillators 'scan' a sample, which at low frequencies deliver a scratch
sound. At higher frequencies the oscillators, shaped by the sample
waveform, become the dominant force. In this way, SKANNER XT provides a

tones to morphing soundscapes and organic pads.
Developed together with NI synthesis mastermind Stephan Schmitt, SKANNER
XT offers two interface views for different levels of interaction with

to more detailed parameters in order to further explore the sonic
potential of the instrument. A morph control option allows for
convenient switching between eight different snapshots - producing

Berlin, March 14th, 2012 – Native Instruments today announced TRAKTOR
KONTROL F1, a pad-based, USB-powered hardware controller built to
control the advanced Remix Decks™ in the included TRAKTOR PRO 2.5
software. TRAKTOR KONTROL F1 provides 16 multi-colored, touch-sensitive
LED pads, an advanced global control section as well as an ergonomic
mixer section including four volume faders and dedicated filter knobs.
Designed specifically for DJing, the KONTROL F1 offers a DJ-centric
workflow for launching clips in an intuitive way, allowing users to
switch between up to 64 tracks, loops and one-shot samples on each deck.
TRAKTOR KONTROL F1 includes the full version of the TRAKTOR PRO 2.5
software, also available as a free update to all users of the TRAKTOR 2
generation. Version 2.5 introduces the innovative Remix Decks™, giving
access to a powerful loop suite made up of 64 slots, each able to hold
loops, one-shot samples or even tracks. DJs can control up to four Remix
Decks at once and save their work as an entire Remix Set with its
respective beat grids, BPM and key information in a new file format that
can be comfortably imported into a track deck via TRAKTOR’s browser.
TRAKTOR KONTROL F1 was designed specifically to control the Remix Decks™

Remix Deck, thus offering dedicated transport, sync and tempo master
controls. This allows DJs to control an entire Remix Deck via Native
Scratch timecode control with vinyl or CDs, or using the jog wheels of
the KONTROL S4 and KONTROL S2 hardware.
TRAKTOR KONTROL F1 was designed to integrate perfectly into any TRAKTOR
DJ setup. With the same form-factor as TRAKTOR KONTROL X1, KONTROL F1

a new instrument that provides hard-hitting cinematic percussion for
professional movie scoring and high-impact music production. Created by
premier sound design house Heavyocity and powered by the latest KONTAKT
5 engine, this unique sonic resource expertly combines industrial sounds
and orchestral percussion to add true wide-screen character to any
dramatic piece of music.
As the successor of Heavyocity's universally acclaimed "Evolve" series,
DAMAGE was created over the course of two years involving unique
recording and sound design techniques. The instrument is based on over
25,000 individual samples recorded in 24bit/96Kz using state-of-the-art
equipment, resulting in 30 GB of source material. Sounds were captured
in a variety of locations ranging from various high-end studios to a
Connecticut junkyard, and comprise all possible types of percussion from
traditional instruments to exploding cars and cranes dropping objects
from great heights.
DAMAGE contains over 700 beat-sliced percussive loops as well as 58
multi-sampled kits, including an arsenal of unique "Damage Hits" for
distinctive stings and transitions. Loop Menus can be mixed and matched
easily to create complex layered rhythms, while Single Loops offer
detailed playback control for intuitive sound tweaking. Certain kits are
based on sophisticated ensemble-style recordings, with multiple velocity
and round-robin layers, to provide true performance dynamics and a wide
range of impact.
The sounds are complemented by a specifically designed effects section
that includes the versatile new Trigger FX 2.0 real-time sound mangling
suite as well as the central "Punish" knob for seamless increases in
pressure and intensity. As a KONTAKT-powered instrument, DAMAGE offers
all relevant playback and sound shaping functionality through the free
