This is Nepro's 4th release for Arturia's V Synths following the Minimoog V, ARP2600 and Moog Modular V sound libraries. Included are 40 Prophet-5 Patches, 40 Prophet-VS Patches and 20 new Hybrid mode sounds which bring this collection to a new level in virtual analog sound.

The Patch King has owed several different Prophet's over the last 30 years and still has a Prophet VS rack in the studio. The collection of sounds that Nepro has programmed for the Arturia V collection is done with expert care from someone who knows the Prophet-5 and Prophet-VS very well - so you can be sure that the sounds are well crafted and sound great.

One of the great things about the Prophet V is that you can import sysex files that were programmed on the original Prophets. kid Nepro then took their original Prophet-5 and Prophet-VS sound collections and imported the best patches to use as a starting point. The patches were then tweaked using the new Prophet V parameters using the added modulation routings as well as the new delay and chorus effects using the joystick and aftertouch - none of which were on the original synths.

Kid Nepro has released five new volumes of sounds for the Motif XS and Motif XF series. Each sound bank contains 128 new programs. Vol #5 also includes 50 new samples and 4 new drum kits. Sound collections are $40. each or get all five for $150.

Volume 1 - Studio/Session Mix
Studio/Session mix is useful for musicians doing live gigs or studio sessions. There are a wide mix of keyboards, strings, guitars & basses, leads, brass, winds and other similar type sounds. They can be used in a wide range of styles including, rock, reggae, dance and even church services. Attention to real time control details like mod wheel and aftertouch give each program a more realistic sound and will give you greater control and more expressive playing in your music.

Volume 2 - Classic Synths
Classic Synths has recreated the popular sound of the best vintage analog and digital synthesizers, adding many new real time control features found on the Motif. It's the best of the old and the new. Many Vintage Synth sounds that you would expect from this type of collection including synth basses, leads, pads and effects along with a few new patches unique to the Motif sound.

Volume 3 - Killer Keyboards
Killer Keys can be used at live gigs or studio sessions and is perfect for the keyboard player or organist doing church services. The new sound bank gives you a wider variety of new electric & acoustic pianos, jazz, rock & pipe organs, funky calves, harpsichords and layered keyboard sounds mixed with strings, pads, choirs and brass.

Volume 4 - Soundtrack/Film Mix
Soundtrack/Film Mix is perfect for composers doing film and TV production. Kid Nepro has created many different type "atmospheres" that can be used as background to a video, TV or movie soundtrack. Many of the sounds can also be used in new age or synth type audio tracks. There are tons of pads, special effects, alternate tunings and spacy rhythms using the motif arpeggiator.

Volume 5 - Hip Hop/R&B Mix
Kid Nepro wanted to try something new with this sound bank so they dug into their large collection of sampled sounds. They started by importing fifty new WAV samples from their MPC and SP1200 sound libraries. Mostly classic drum samples; kicks, snares, hi hats as well as several horn, guitar and orchestra hits. In addition to the four new kits they also created the usual 128 new program voices. The voices combine the new multi samples as well as the factory samples. The 128 programs contain all the usual sounds that you will find useful in creating Hip Hop/R&B Tracks. New drum beats, basses, leads, guitars, hits, strings and pads and a wide variety of keyboard sounds.

The Patch King is now hard at work creating an amazing new library for ALL of
Arturia’s V Collection. The Minimoog V is the first release from the new collection
and is now available. Several other libraries will follow throughout the year
including new sounds for the Arturia Moog Modular V, ARP2600 V, CS-80V, Prophet-V
and Jupiter-8V.

Kid Nepro purchased his first original Minimoog back in the mid 80's and has been using 
them ever since. We still have one in our studio which continues to get lots of 
use when we are looking for that certain sound that only the Moog can provide. For Kid 
Nepro, programming a Minimoog is like riding a bicycle: you never forget how to do it! 
The collection of new sounds is done with expert care from someone who knows the classic 
synth very well – so you can be sure that the patches are all well crafted and sound great.

Korg M3 Volume #2 - Soundtrack/Film Mix the followup to Nepro's popular "Proto Rock" collection, is now available. The new collection contains 64 programs, 32 combis and 60 megs of new samples including over 100 new samples from their "Effectron" sound effect library. All well crafted and fully KARMA-fied to produce only the highest quality sounds for the M3 series music workstations.

While Proto Rock was more "meat and potatoes" type sounds, this new PCG sound collection is more unique. M3 Soundtrack is perfect if you're doing television, film work or video game scoring and you require background effects, killer pads and synth sounds or unique rhythms not found in the M3 factory presets. Using KARMA GE's and real time controls, Kid Nepro has created an assortment of different "atmospheres" that can be used as background to a video track. Many of the sounds can also be used in New Age or Synth audio tracks.

M3 Soundtrack also contains several new sampled drum patterns from Nepro's SP1200, Wavestation and KARMA sound collections so when you turn on the M3 drum track you will find some cool new drum beats and sounds effects not found anywhere else. As with Proto Rock, they will be adding more sounds in future updates and all KN Soundtrack owners will be eligible for free updates and discount prices.
