SALT LAKE  CITY, Utah – DigiTech today announced that the new Spring Tank reverb pedal for the iStomp™ is now available from the DigiTech Stomp Shop app on iTunes.

The Spring Tank pedal provides the rich spring reverb effect found in vintage amplifiers and on numerous classic and contemporary recordings. Not only does the new offering produce a rich stereo spring reverb effect, it also produces the distinctive “boing” artifact unique to spring reverb trays that guitar players have come to  know and love.

While the Spring Tank reverb pedal delivers the great sound of a traditional spring reverb, it also takes the concept of a spring reverb a step farther. Unlike single knob reverb effects found in guitar amps, the Spring Tank provides four separate knobs to control Reverb level, Boing, Twang and Tone. The pedal has a cool, unusual design, morphing a traditional spring tank into the form of a classic stompbox.

The Spring Tank pedal is the 26th and latest pedal added to the Stomp Shop app for use with the iStomp downloadable pedal.

The Stomp Shop debuted in January 2012 with an initial compliment of 22 pedals ranging in price from US$1.99 to US$9.99.

Each  month DigiTech continues to add new pedals to the pedal line to bring guitar players fresh new options. Using the digital download  format of the iStomp allows DigiTech to put many new and unusual pedals  into guitar players’ hands vey quickly.

“This  is one of many new pedals to come as we expand the iStomp pedal line.  The pedals in the Stomp Shop offer a wide variety of high-quality tones and effects that musicians are looking for.  The new Spring Tank pedal  is no exception,” stated Rob Urry, vice president, HARMAN Professional  Division and general manager of Signal Processing and Amplifier Business  Units.

The Spring  Tank pedal is now available for only US$0.99. This special launch price  will run through April 30, 2012, after which it will move to its regular  price of US$9.99.

HARMAN’s DigiTech® Whammy® DT Pedal with Drop Tuning and True Bypass Is Now Shipping
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – HARMAN’s DigiTech today announced the Whammy DT Pedal is now
shipping. The new Whammy DT adds a host of mind-bending capabilities including drop
tuning, capo tuning and true bypass coupled with the famous Whammy.

Since its introduction, the Whammy DT Pedal has already been met with resoundingly
positive reviews from musicians who have had a chance to demo it.

“The applications for this pedal are endless. This can be used with any style of
music, which makes it so powerful,” stated Ben Carter, Guitarist with BC Grooves.

“The Whammy DT is not just a one-trick pony; after playing through it, the DT
quickly revealed its value as a compositional tool,” added Kelly Ritchotte of
Luthier.

The Whammy DT starts with the classic Whammy pitch shifting effects that have made
the Whammy one of the most recognizable effects pedals in rock.  Featuring an
expanded selection of pitch bending capabilities including nine Whammy bending modes
from two-octaves up through two-octaves down, nine harmony bending modes, two detune
modes, and the popular Dive Bomb six octaves down effect.

The Whammy DT also lets guitar and bass players instantly modify their tuning
without having to change instruments or break the musical mood with awkward tuning
adjustments for the next song. The Whammy DT can drop down or capo up seven
half-steps or an entire octave from where the guitar or bass is tuned. Thanks to the
Whammy DT’s sophisticated digital signal processing and pitch shifting algorithms,
chordal accuracy is perfectly maintained.

In addition, the Whammy DT features a momentary footswitch for real time stepped
pitch shifting to create ”Hammer-On” and “Pull-Off” type effects. Players can
instantly get a drop or raise in the pitch of the notes they are playing by stepping
on and holding the footswitch – then releasing it to return to pitch for a dramatic
effect during solos and riffs.

The DigiTech Whammy DT is now available with an MSRP of $449.95.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah –DigiTech today announced the introduction of its iPB-10
Programmable Pedalboard, the world’s first programmable pedalboard using the Apple®
iPad®.  By harnessing the power of the iPad, the iPB-10 combines the simplicity of a
pedalboard with the flexibility of a multi-effect system.

“We created the Guitar Multi-Effects product category over 20 years ago with the
release of the DigiTech RP1,” said Rob Urry, V.P. Harman Professional Division &
G.M. of Signal Processing and Amplifier Business Units.  “By introducing the concept
of presets to a pedalboard operating paradigm with the iPB-10, we have created an
entirely new product category, the Programmable Pedal Board.” Urry continued.

In conjunction with the iPB-10, DigiTech also announced the introduction of the
iPB-Nexus app for iPad. This app gives guitar players drag and drop pedalboard
design functionality.  It also includes the My Tones library where users can store
and organize presets. Also included is a real-time performance view where users can
see each pedal and its settings.

Together, the iPB-10 and iPB-Nexus allow guitar players to design their ultimate
pedalboard .  Users can drag and drop up to 10 different pedals, in any order, to
each pedalboard, and can even add an amp and cabinet to complete each setup.  With
87 different pedals, 54 amps, and 26 cabinets to choose from, the number of
different guitar tones users can create is virtually unlimited.  By using the touch
gestures of the iPad, guitar players can rearrange the pedals in their signal chain,
turn them on and off, or to adjust their settings.  The iPB-10 Programmable
Pedalboard allows users to save their setups with the touch of a finger, and
instantly recall them with the stomp of a foot.  Now, guitar players can have a
different pedalboard for each gig, set, song, or even switch pedalboards within a
song.

The iPB-10 Programmable Pedalboard is not simply a dock for the iPad.  It uses
multiple Audio DNA2™ processors within the unit to provide users with no-latency,
high-definition signal processing.

“With the ultra-secure iPad mounting system and the no-latency, high-def processing,
we have brought the power and infrastructure of the iPad to bear in live performance
situations.” said Urry.  “You can count on seeing a long line of enhancements and
features available in future upgrades via the Apple App Store.”  Urry added.

The iPB-10 is compatible with all models of iPad2 and iPad.

The DigiTech iPB-10 will begin shipping in June 2011 at $699.95 suggested retail
price and $499.95 US MAP. The iPB-Nexus app for iPad will be a free app available
for download from the App Store.

DigiTech today announced the limited edition Lyra Multi-Effects Pedal is now shipping. Eternal Descent Lyra, a limited edition multi-effects pedal, brings the sound of the globally popular DigiTech guitar pedal series to guitarists everywhere.

Eternal Descent is a cross-genre story that blends elements of fantasy, action, music, superhero, gothic, science fiction, supernatural and other elements into an ongoing saga featuring Lyra, the series’ heroine. Lyra is a rock singer who is quick-witted, beautiful, talented, has attitude to spare – and is immersed in a battle with demons both internal and awaiting her at every turn.  Created by writer Llexi Leon, the comics revolve around the exploits of Lyra and her band, Constellation Nine, and rock and metal bands like Static X, Atreyu, Firewind, Shadows Fall and others have made guest appearances

Commenting on the availability of the pedal Leon stated, “I’m psyched to see Lyra on the pedal boards of guitarists and Eternal Descent fans everywhere! The sounds we’ve created really reflect the attitude and allure of Lyra’s character, a unique set of tones to excite and inspire all kinds of players.”

The DigiTech Lyra delivers the signature tones, sounds and effects that legendary producer/engineer Eddie Kramer (Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Kiss and others) and his team used to record the Eternal Descent albums. Seven preset tones, from clean to moderate overdrive to crushing distortion are available that match seven songs from the albums.

Each preset tone can be further modified by the Lyra’s Gain and FX Mix knobs. When the knobs are in the 12 o’clock position, the sound matches the sound of the actual song. Turning the Gain knob left or right increases or decreases the amount of amp/distortion gain, while turning the FX Mix knob left or right increases or decreases the amount of the modulation, delay and reverb effects for each of the seven presets. A Level knob controls the output volume. The pedal has mono and stereo outputs and can be powered by a 9V battery or the included AC power supply.

The Lyra Multi-Effects Pedal is now available with an MSRP of $199.95.

HardWire®, a leading manufacturer of guitar pedals, is introducing the new HT-6 Polyphonic Tuner at the 2011 Winter NAMM show in Anaheim, California.

The HT-6 is a tuner for guitarists and bassists that can be used to tune all 6 strings of an instrument simultaneously. Based on technology from 3dB Research, the HT-6 makes tuning instruments faster and easier easy by simply strumming all strings and viewing the 'string' display readout as to which string is in or out of tune.

The HT-6 Polyphonic Tuner pedal interface is similar to chromatic tuning pedals but features standard effects pedal. 6-rows of LED lights, one for each string. LED display matrix that represents the six strings of a guitar or bass. Two buttons on the HT-6 Tuner's top display panel are used for selecting display modes (Mode) and tuning references (Tuning).

The HT-6 also features individual guitar and bass LEDs to indicate whether guitar or bass display modes are being used. The Custom LED will light when Drop D tuning reference is selected. There is a cluster of LEDs below the matrix that is used to display the note as individual strings are tuned.

The HT-6 can also be used as a standard single string tuner. The HT-6 runs off of a 9VDC battery, or an optional external Harman PS200R DC power adapter. The HT-6 can also power up to six other 9VDC powered pedals on your pedal board when used with an optional DC power adapter and a power chain cable.

"The already impressive lineup of HardWire pedals just got even better with the introduction of the HT-6 Polyphonic Tuner. The tuning capability of the HT-6 is a great addition to a tour-worthy package of the HardWire pedals," stated Rob Urry, president, Harman Music Group.

Each HardWire pedal also features an assortment of tour-worthy accessories, including green gaffer tape common to pro pedalboards, and a precut hook and loop pad to mount the pedal to a pedalboard.
