Daisy Rock Welcomes Ann Reed to the Family

Daisy Rock Girl Guitars, the original girl-guitar company, proudly welcomes
folk-style singer-songwriter, Ann Reed, to its family of endorsed artists, sporting
a Bleach Blond Wildwood Artist Acoustic-Electric guitar. A Minnesota Native, Reed
has been a performer throughout her adult life and has been touring all over North
America for over 30 years. She categorizes herself as a 100%
organic-singer-songwriter with no dyes, perfumes, or additives.

Having taught herself how to play guitar at the age of 12, she was influenced by
every band that her older brothers listened to while growing up. Her biggest
influence, however, was Mary Travers of Peter, Paul and Mary, because Mary was the
first singer that Reed had heard with sung in a similarly low vocal range.

Reed has recorded 20 albums, including her latest Where the Earth is Round(2009),
appeared on several television and radio shows including ABC’s Good Morning
Americaand NPR’s Morning Edition, made numerous choral arrangements, and can be
heard in professional voice-overs for commercials and videos. Reed has also won
Minnesota Music Academy Performer of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Best
Recording of the Year, along with several awards from numerous nonprofit
organizations that she supports.
